Willie's Trouble and Thomas Green's Adventure are two short stories published together in small hardback booklet by Frederick Warne and Co of London and New York. The title page proclaims the volume to be "edited by the author of The Heir of Redclyffe", and to form part of the "Star of Hope" series. It has no date of publication, and there are no page numbers. There is a coloured frontispiece by an unidentified artist.

There is a handwritten dedication from "Edward George Hicks a present from Maude Dec 5th 1892"
